Show Announcement: Jamaican Oldies Weekend in Chicago, featuring Stranger Cole

JUMP UP RECORDS celebrates the beginning of it’s 20th Anniversary by creating JAMAICAN OLDIES PRODUCTIONS, a partnership with MAYNE STAGE to bring vintage Jamaican vocalists to Chicago every 3 months! Our first event is a 2 day weekend! Saturday, November 17th features ska legend STRANGER COLE backed by THE PRIZEFIGHTERS, performing a fantastic set of classic 60s rock steady and ska.

Opening the show will be Nashville, TN band SOUL RADICS, celebrating the release of their debut album on Jump Up Records, followed by an original set by us.  DJs will be spinning Jamaican vinyl all night long to keep the dancing going.  Headlining the night will be Stranger Cole himself with us as his backing band!

We have been hard at work for weeks, learning his songs and getting everything ready for the epic night!  Road-trip down to Chicago for this unforgettable concert experience!
