“Follow My Sound” reviewed in Rocking Steady Zine

Our album Follow My Sound was recently reviewed in the international ska zine Rocking Steady!  In their glowing, yet honest review, they said:

(Follow My Sound) is stylistically somewhere between Madness, Intensified, and Hepcat.  What you have here is an honest-made ska sound, straight from the heart, from Ska to Reggae and back!”

This Weekend! Milwaukee and Minneapolis shows!

We are loading up our cars for a weekend of ska, rocksteady, and reggae!  We set up a mini-tour with our friends in Chicago reggae-soul band Deal’s Gone Bad and Wisconsin pop-ska band Something To Do that takes us to Milwaukee’s Bay View Brew Haus on Friday night.  Doors are at 9pm for that 21+ show.  It’s our first show in Milwaukee so please introduce yourselves and welcome us to Brewtown!

Saturday night, we return home to Minneapolis to our favorite club, the Triple Rock Social Club for an 18+ show.  We’ll be sharing the stage again with Deal’s Gone Bad and Something To Do, but we may even have some special guests join us on stage.  Doors are at 9 pm, get there early since we are playing first for this one.

Hope to see you at the shows this weekend!

“Follow My Sound” reviewed on Musical Occupation

Our debut album Follow My Sound was recently reviewed on Musical Occupation, a blog dedicated to ska and reggae music.  Andrew Barker gave a warm review of our album, saying:

The more I’ve listened to this album I have grown to really enjoy it. The band has a funky groove that makes for some good time music…it is a solid album, full of gruff, yet catchy dirty reggae, and ska tunes.

Be sure to order our album from Jump Up Records!
